H.E. Dato’ Nadzirah Osman

H.E. Dato’ Nadzirah Osman is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Permanent Representative of Malaysia to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) since September 2021.

Prior to her posting to the Netherlands, Ambassador Dato’ Nadzirah had served in key leadership positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia including as the Deputy Secretary General of Multilateral Affairs (2019-2021), Undersecretary for Multilateral Political Division (2017-2019), Undersecretary for the Human Resource Management Division (2010-2014), and Undersecretary for the Multilateral Economic and Environment Division (2009-2010).

Her assignments abroad include as the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Czech Republic (2014-2017), Counsellor at the High Commission of Malaysia in London, United Kingdom (2004-2009), and Second Secretary at the Embassy of Malaysia in Mexico (1997-2001).  

Ambassador Dato’ Nadzirah is married and has six children.
